Thanks for sharing this concise article with useful advice. My grandfather in his eighties used to say : I'm 85 and I still don't know what I want to do with my life! (English humour) but yes it can be scary to think one decision may get you on the "wrong" path (like your student) or that "you should have found what you want to do by now" (there was a time I feared I would reach the same conclusion as my grandfather). I like the idea of a carefree attitude of seeing where life takes you while doing your best to learn and enjoy the present and the process.
